Wow, my dad made the front page of our hometown newspaper about the break in at his house. Of course, I’m mentioned as well in his testimony as he at first thought it was me in his house. I’ve been getting crap about it all day.

Speaking of my dad’s house, he has a nice collage of my senior pictures from high school hanging on his wall that I get to look at everyday. If I had my scanner, I’d share the joy. I’d do almost anything to weigh 105 pounds again. Besides cutting off extremities.

What I’m currently Listening to… Nothing! I can’t get my dang computer speakers to work right at the moment.

Everyone is Invited to a Painting Party

I had migraine headaches a lot when my twins were little, and the doctor told me they were stress induced. Funny how they all of the sudden stopped once I got divorced. Until today. First migraine I’ve had in 4 years.

People say building a house is stressful. I think it’s the being homeless part that is stressing me out. My aunt with caller ID answered her phone “Help for the Homeless, May I help you?” when I called. And I’m starting to miss things I have packed in the trailer. Things I thought I could live without for a month, like ziploc bags, cleaning supplies, batteries…

On a brighter note, the house is progressing well. The drywall and texturing is done. I’m having the crew paint the ceilings and prime the walls. I started picking out colors for the rooms and hopefully will start painting on Friday with the help of my family and friends.
