Painting Party Day #5

I have now painted my laundry room four different colors, and I still don’t like it, so will attempt a new color tomorrow.

My mom has to see a foot surgeon in Omaha tomorrow and will need surgery for a shattered heel after the swelling goes down. She is upset that she can’t exercise morning, noon and night since she has to keep her ankle above her heart. I’m upset that she can’t help me paint. I wish I had her motivation as this painting 12 hours a days is wearing on me.

My dad asks me every day if my new house is done yet. And every day, I reply, “Are you trying to get rid of us?”
