Decisions. Decisions. Glitches, too.

My neighbor told me it is best to be the 2nd owner of a newer house so the 1st owner can fix all the glitches. This new owner (me!) has definitely found a few glitches.
The flooring people had to come back out to stretch carpet and fix vinyl bubbles. And I’ll have to buy cord-around for the vinyl that wasn’t cut straight enough.
The cabinet people are coming back this week to install my forgotten file cabinet in my office and bring a new longer counter top for my laundry room.
The plumber (he doesn’t have a website to link to) came back out to install another hot water heater after we ran out of hot water while 3 of us were showering at the same time. And he assured me the sewer back up problem is definitely fixed. Jimmy likes Nickelback, too.
My electrician came and installed some more lights. I call him “The Can Man” since he highly suggested can lights for a lot of my rooms. He doesn’t have a website either, but I promised him a nice review on my website. How’s this, Mark?
Kim highly recommends Johnson Electric of Norfolk, Nebraska, for your Commercial and Residential Electrical Needs.
And I’m making a list for my contractor of little things like missing floor trim and such. I bet he will be so glad to be rid of me!
I wish I would have thought to have a gas line run to my deck for my grill, so I’d never have to worry about running the tank out of gas and getting it refilled. I may check into see if I can still do that.
Now I have to start thinking about landscaping! Should I sod or seed? I’ll worry about that after the retaining walls and automatic sprinklers are in. I’ve made enough decisions for today…
What I’m listening to (podcast on iTunes)… The Don & Mike Show – Free FM 106.7 WJFK – Washington, D.C. Funny stuff.

If your really listening to Don and Mike Show, then your probably laughing at all their stuff that can make even a disapointed person laugh outloud when taking to a sub-contractor who is thinking your “easy”. Put your foot down and ask your county inspectors to give you a hand and you`ll get respect and the work will be done “RIGHT”! Other wise you have no garentee that what is done , is done right. This is the house your building for your family, is`nt it KIM! Do it right and not only are you and your family safe, But no one can say “SEE I TOLD YOU, YOU COULD`NT DO IT RIGHT! John
