If you’ve been with me since the beginning of HouseForKim.com, you may remember I was first going to sell keyword phrase text links instead of pixel ads. Archived HouseForKim.com website.

A friend of mine convinced me that Link Directories are “so 2001″. But after seeing Brandon’s LinkExperiment.com in which the links are ranked by price paid, and involve no categorization, he may be on to something. I bought a link for one of my sites, and although it got bumped off the main page by a higher bidder, it remains on the Links Page.

And I’m beginning to think Pixel Ad sites are “so 2005″. I’m getting thousands of visitors to this site, but I presume you are just here to read my crazy writings and not buy pixel ads. But I’m okay with that. Now that my house is officially built, I’m thinking of different angles for the site.

Every day I think of new things I would do different in the new beta house. I’ll have to keep notes for House for Kim Version 2.0.

For instance, my plumber had asked me if I wanted a seat in my master shower. I said ‘no’ thinking (1) those are for old people to sit down and (2) it would be too space consuming. Well, now I wish I had one so I could prop up my legs to shave them easier! I have to hold them up on the wall, and not being as limber as I used to be, am giving my leg muscles a workout. Doing these curtail repetitions every day may just help me get in shape!
