Prime Time Thursday Night

I don’t watch a lot of television, and I even own more TV’s than I do kids. But tonight, I actually wanted to watch 3 different shows, and I missed them all! Soccer practice ran late, and I had to run to the grocery store and make supper, and then wham bam (thank you ma’am), they were over. See, they were all to air at 7 pm CST (sorry Patrick, I mean CDT).
First there is Survivor on CBS. I really got into the earlier seasons, but they are beginning to be all similiar now. I always thought my Ex would be good at that game – he was athletic and could play mind-games like no other, and we sure could have used that million dollars. Our preemie twins’ medical bills surpassed $1 million.
I also wanted to watch My Name is Earl on NBC. Karma is a Funny Thing. I have them both taped on my new handy dandy Digital Video Recorder from CableOne. But knowing me, I’ll never get around to watching them.
I had heard my “evil twin” tease the other twin about being an “Ugly Betty”, but didn’t get the jist of it until I read Moxie’s Recommendation about the new show, Ugly Betty on ABC. So I go see what time it airs to watch. You guessed it. Same time.
But I definitely plan to watch “ER” tonight on NBC after I tuck the kids in as I’ve watched that show since it’s inception and love it. Unless, of course, I get a booty call. Just kidding.

John Schlarb said,
How old are your twins, and did you know that they are extremely sensitive to the influence of their surroundings. I sence that you are a good mother, but be careful how you introduce their activities. especially television, and all of the ameneties. Like games, cable, and movies. If you bring them into the commercial setting to soon, they lose their ability to learn how to be a kid. This could result in their ability to learn how to grow and learn about their own abilities to achive goal that have purpose for later life. ( I started teaching our childeren that the whole house was everybodies responsibilty, not just the parents.) After you eat a prepared meal, or find one of your socks with theirs after they do the lawndry. I even designated a cabinet for each of the childeren in the kitchen for their ultinsils and piad them for their services of cleaning, cooking, and entertaning of guest`s childeren. One of the best investment we made was a geen house for the winter vegtables and for cut flowers around the house. All of these are just thought`s about our kids. John
