Happenings in my Habitat

I’m sure you’ve noticed the new splash homepage, thanks to my talented, good-looking, and might I mention, still single, brother. I figured since my house is already built, it was time to move on to bigger and better things. But I didn’t want to disappoint all my loyal readers (yes, I have a stat counter and see you all), so I’m gonna continue to blog about happenings in my habitat (and my love life if you’re lucky).
Speaking of… I need to CLEAN! I am having an open house here on Saturday, and yes, you are all invited to tour my new house. Invitation. Introduce yourself as a blog reader, and I’ll give you a Free Smiley Face t-shirt. Bring me a roses, and… well you’ll have to find out. I think I need to invest in a maid. My mother has offered, but she is still on crutches after shattering her heel painting at my house (yes, over 3 months ago). Maybe a nanny would be a better option than a maid to help with the kids.
What I’m listening to on iTunes: “Love You” by Jack Ingram. Oh, I went to Tonic Sol Fa last night – a cappella at it’s finest.

I had a roommate that was previously a maid. — Here are her tips for cleaning FAST:
Work in a circle – start at a doorway and work your way around the room.
SET A TIMER – work for ten minutes – rest for five – work for ten minutes – work for five, etc. This works especially well if you have a large, unpleasant task for accomplish.
STAY in the same room you are working in until you have accomplished your goal — this will ensure that you don’t get sidetracked.
Good luck!

Just wanted to ask, have you heard the song by Jack Ingram “Love You” but its the one called the bleep song??? It’s the song I would love to play to all of my ex-”so called friends and family” ! ! ! Good luck with the open house and tell ya Mom I hope she gets better soon ! I sure would love to have one of the simley tpshirts but I just can’t bring myself to travel that far to get one(LOL)From WV to your home, thats a great distance. Oh, JMHO, I think I would go for the Nanny. Help with the kids would make a world of differance.
