Happenings in my Habitat

I’m sure you’ve noticed the new splash homepage, thanks to my talented, good-looking, and might I mention, still single, brother. I figured since my house is already built, it was time to move on to bigger and better things. But I didn’t want to disappoint all my loyal readers (yes, I have a stat counter and see you all), so I’m gonna continue to blog about happenings in my habitat (and my love life if you’re lucky).

Speaking of… I need to CLEAN! I am having an open house here on Saturday, and yes, you are all invited to tour my new house. Invitation. Introduce yourself as a blog reader, and I’ll give you a Free Smiley Face t-shirt. Bring me a roses, and… well you’ll have to find out. I think I need to invest in a maid. My mother has offered, but she is still on crutches after shattering her heel painting at my house (yes, over 3 months ago). Maybe a nanny would be a better option than a maid to help with the kids.

What I’m listening to on iTunes: “Love You” by Jack Ingram. Oh, I went to Tonic Sol Fa last night – a cappella at it’s finest.

Sing to the Tune of … “Brand New Girlfriend”

Chorus:
I got a brand new boyfriend.
we went and jumped off the deep end,
flew out to Denver for the weekend,
spent the whole day, lyin’ round the condo,
wearin’ nothin’ but a smile,
playin’ kissy-kissy, smoochy-smoochy,
talkin’ mooshy-mooshy bout nothin’.
man, I think I’m on to somethin’,
Because I feel just like a kid again.
I got a brand new boyfriend.

Yeah, I finally found someone to fit ALL of my requirements; he knows everything about me and still likes me! Almost too good to be true, I know.

P.S. He hates Steve Holy’s song. Maybe he’ll like my rendition better. ;)

P.P.S. Mom, it’s just a song and so not true… we did leave the condo long enough take the light rail to an Avalanche hockey game and see the new James Bond movie.
