I have to admit I prefer the snow over the ice, as I still have electricity! But I sure miss my old neighbors with snow blowers that took turns feeling sorry for me being a single mom and cleaned my sidewalks.
I know I own three pairs of snow boots, but for the life of me, I cannot find them in my collection of shoes. Good thing I have a brood of kids that I can pawn the job off on.
As my youngest left for school (late start), she said, “Mom, if you go shopping, we need bread… and a snowblower.”
Newest House Problem: I had to call the contractor today as water is leaking into my bathroom via the vent. Ah, the joys of home ownership.

Yea. I would love to have those joys too. Being disabled, I can’t afford to buy my own home.I have the “get out or move” words to look forward to.Never knowing when they are coming but one thing certain, they will.Snow boots, none here.Oh well, I don’t even own a winter coat. How lucky am I?(LOL)I’m a single Mom also but there’s no one I know that would volunteer to help me.I guess thats what I gained from NOT taking crap from everyone.
