[...] Shawn Collins gave me this “Will Blog For Food” tshirt (with AffiliateSummit.com written on the back) while I was in New York City last week for the Social Media Affiliate Summit. I have to admit that I’m kind of a picky eater. Ok, I take that back, I’m a very picky eater. I’m a meat and potatoes and pizza girl. I usually don’t eat hotdogs, but I like the ones from our local meat locker (yes, the ones that nearly burned down my new house).
Try shoving wooden toothpicks into the stripped hole, breaking them off flush after inserting them into the hole. Then screw the hinge back in. The toothpicks help fill the hole and they're relatively soft, so they'll twist and mash and hold the screw's threads while tightening things up a bit inside the hole.

It's not a permanent fix, but will often hold for months (with light use) until you can mix up some sawdust and glue to fill the hole in more permanently.
