About Kim’s House

HouseForKim.com originally started as an entrepreneurial idea back in 2006 to raise money to build my dream house for me and my children here in the middle of nowhere by selling pixel property in my virtual house. I started a blog to track the progress and ramble along the way. What I wasn’t prepared for was more date offers than pixel buyers. Press Release. I even went so far as to list my Date Application Requirements.

My house is now built, and despite a few marriage proposals, just the kids and I dwell here for now. Current House Pics. I decided to keep the blog going so I can continue to babble on and on about essentially nothing. I wouldn’t want to disappoint the thousands of visitors that gather round (yeah, the good stuff, as in Pizza Hut, my favorite).

2010 Update: Now that I’ve lived here 4+ years, I have the itch to build another a new house!
