Calgon Take Me Away (and then drain correctly)
A few years ago, at my old house, the sewer backed up in the basement. My house was literally full of crap. And me being the thrifty shopper wanted to save $25 on my homeowner’s insurance, so didn’t have sewer coverage. Luckily, it proved to the be the city’s fault of overgrown tree roots, so their insurance paid out.
Since my new house is in a new development with no existing trees, and up on a hill so the water runneth downward, I thought I should have no sewer problems. I thought wrong.
After testing out the showers and whirlpool on our first night in the house, my basement was filling with water (luckily just H2O and not sewage). And my plumber is out of town bear hunting. Great. Just great. Luckily, there is another plumber in town to come help this damsel in distress.
And that was just the beginning of my nighttime dilemmas…. I kept hearing noises… My air mattress went flat… I needed a stiff drink…

It sound like the house line was connected to the main line w/ the house line dust cap still in place. But you should not worry, because the county requires the builder to carry an insurance policy on the new home and property For a minimum of one (1) year against any failures or code violations that would ocur, after you bought it. Didn`t know that, well now you do. (tell the builder to fix it for free, or the STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL will tell them) John

And Lord knows this one is into things done for free eh. I figure it would be a different theme now and then but it’s always the same, partly cloudy, help, somebody else save me and make it sunny again like it was, then somebody hurry up and OFFER to pay my bill so that reciprocity on my part is eliminated. Here is my true power, I give it all away, oh and my gratitude is for purchase as always.
