Gripe #2 My Plug-In Placements
I honestly never even thought about where the light switches and plug-ins should be when the electrician asked me where I wanted them. So, it’s my fault for telling him to put them where he thought they should be. Obviously he doesn’t blow-dry or curl his hair often. 
In the bathrooms, the plug-ins are right above the vanities between the two sinks. So now, when I plug in my “hair appliances” the cords hang down and get tangled in the drawers. I wish I had them placed at both ends of the vanity to avoid tangles, and then also the mirror could have been installed flush to the vanity top. The guy that installed my mirrors asked if I wanted them flush, but it would have cost quite a bit more money to have the plug-in areas cut out of the mirrors, so I declined.
And I’m finding I wish I had light switches in different places, like the pantry switch, the dining room switches, my bedroom switches… Wish I could just switch them around! So much I have learned a little too late.
