What’s My Flight Plan?
So last week coming home from Denver, I was again a tad late getting to the airport (4 am is way too early for me). I cut to the front of the security line to board my plane in time. Unfortunately, my luggage didn’t make the plane in time. And I wasn’t thinking positive enough like last time. Since it was my fault the luggage didn’t make it (for checking in late), they wouldn’t deliver it, so I stayed in Omaha for the next flight to arrive. I was too tired to shop, so found a Panera Bread with Free Wi-Fi.
Last July, Southwest lost my luggage on a direct flight to Florida (it went on to the next city). Patrick and I are leaving for Miami on Saturday to attend the Affiliate Summit, and I couldn’t get a direct flight (I hate layovers). I’m already praying that my luggage will arrive at the same time I do.
The best flight news now is that Frontier will start to offer direct flights from Sioux City to Denver starting in October, and only $84 each way! With all my trips to Denver, this will save me time (Sioux City is an hour away whereas Omaha is three) plus money (on ticket prices and my time is money). Plus they are offering double miles! I shall be an Ascent member in no time!
Speaking of flying, I’ve been wanting to watch the movie “FlightPlan” with Jodie Foster. It’s an old enough movie now that it’s cheaper to buy it used from Amazon than rent it, so I ordered it for $1.58.
What’s on tap for lunch for me today? Slim-Fast Chocolate Shake. I haven’t “found my slim” from it yet.

I met you at Bubba Gump in Miami on Saturday. You were telling me that your luggage was lost on the transit to Miami. I guess your early praying was not answered :(. Well I hope you were able to retrieve it fast. Take care and it was nice meeting you!—Melissa
