I frequently get requests for link exchanges, even blatant email ads on why I should add so-and-so’s link. Last year, I would have steered them to buy some pixel property in my virtual house for publicity, but now that my house is built, I’ve just been hitting delete, delete, delete.
So, I’ve been contemplating on how to monetize such requests that would benefit both of us. Thus the opportunity to Buy Kim a Drink, Get a Link on HouseForKim.com.

What’s the deal? It’s this cool new site where peeps are sorted by popularity, which is based on clicks and referals. when a new peep enters the roster, the least popular peep gets pushed off the site.
Now I realize that I’m not showing any cleavage, so that may deter clicks back. But I’ll take the glorification while it lasts. Did you see the one pic of cleavage with a necklace? Click on that picture - that’s not really cleavage at all…. but some guy’s backside. Ooooh.

If you’ve been with me since the beginning of HouseForKim.com, you may remember I was first going to sell keyword phrase text links instead of pixel ads. Archived HouseForKim.com website.
A friend of mine convinced me that Link Directories are “so 2001″. But after seeing Brandon’s LinkExperiment.com in which the links are ranked by price paid, and involve no categorization, he may be on to something. I bought a link for one of my sites, and although it got bumped off the main page by a higher bidder, it remains on the Links Page.
And I’m beginning to think Pixel Ad sites are “so 2005″. I’m getting thousands of visitors to this site, but I presume you are just here to read my crazy writings and not buy pixel ads. But I’m okay with that. Now that my house is officially built, I’m thinking of different angles for the site.
