Shopaholic Ties the Knot
Please rate this book (5 stars being the highest)This is the third book in Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic Series.
I obviously liked the first book and the second book to read the third book.
I must advise that if you just got dumped in a relationship, do NOT read this book. It’s depressing to read about wedding plans, even fictional ones. And you’ll be jealous that stupid chicks like Becky Bloomwood can have an almost perfect man like Luke. Maybe it would be a good read for some lucky engaged girl to make her feel better that not all wedding plans go perfectly. If I ever find Mr. Right to marry, I’ll consider re-reading. I have the 4th & 5th Shopaholic books on my shelf, but they aren’t of high priority on my list right now.

Guess I like this series more than Kim does, I mean, I know that Becky Bloomwood is technically a “stupid chick”, (ouch, Kim), but to me she is so freaking lovable. Yes, she finds a perfect man who even has money & who actually indulges her, but somehow I just never hold that against her. I’ve reread all of these books, as somehow they put me in a better mood if I’m feeling low. It’s just something about Becky’s lovable personality & her ability to make friends & bring people together. Her wedding misadventures in this book couldn’t really happen in a million years, but somehow with her, they fit.

I read this book and I really enjoyed it, although I love the whole series. I agree that at some times Becky seems a bit too “stupid” (sometimes you want to shake her) but she’s really endearing as well.
