Based on what Kim says here I definitely want to read this book. It has such a great premise. It looks like it can’t help but be funny. I can never figure out how people come up with these ideas, but it’s so great for the rest of us, the reading public, that they do.
Yesterday evening I took a list of books that I had written down after reading through these picks to Barnes & Noble, found 3 of them, & settled in happily for several hours. I can’t afford to buy them new right now, but the B & N I live near is almost like a library in the way they welcome readers & it’s not like I haven’t spent money there. When I can, I do, when I can’t, I read there. It’s very comfortable.

I don’t live near a Barnes & Noble store, but when I get the chance to visit one, I check out the “Bargain Book” section which usually has a bunch of book selections for around $5. Then I combine with a B&N printable coupon to save more. Afterwards, I may resell the book on Ebay or Half.com and sometimes make a profit!

I really think my single friends would benefit from this book and having a more open mind in general. As we reach our mid thirties I am beginning to get scared for them. I see them turn down men upon meeting them without even digging a little deeper to see who they are. They judge them solely on looks or a physical defect and don’t take ANY time to get to know them. I think everyone should give men at least one date, like the woman in this book. She said yes to every one who asked her out for a year, and really learned to broaden her horizons before it was too late. Exactly what my friends need to do!

This has got to be one of the most innovative premises of a book, I cannot wait to get my hands on it, it sounds absolutely hilarious!

Sounds interesting. I did the same thing when I was young simply because I never wanted to hurt anybody’s feelings. Big mistake!

This book is only funny if you’ve not experienced the horror of being forced to be on a date you didn’t want to go on. As a victim of too many fix-ups, it made me shudder with horror. LOL Very funny book! Thanks for the contest.

I haven’t been single for a number of years now, but I remember some interesting dating adventures. This sounds like a great book to help relive the memories & tickle the funnybone. It looks like a great read.

You remember the old saying you can’t judge a book by its cover. I don’t think I would have the guts to just go out with anyone regardless of anything but I bet you would really meet alot of different types of men.
